Derbyshire: Sudbury Hall

Last weekend I spent in the peak district, oh what a lovely place in England.

I walked in Dovedale across the stepping stones on a beautiful river side walk. Had a coffee in Iiam park and looked around some old churches full of peoples past and history. Side-stepping over grave stones, seeing if you can find the gravestone with the oldest year on it.

A visit to Sudbury Hall, this has a museum of child-hood. All the games we use to play, books we had forgotten we use to read, music we listened to. It was such a trip down memory lane. The house itself full of splendour of how it use to be, servants quarters in the basements while the lady and gent of the house lived grandly above. All run now by the National Trust.

A must needed break away, far from the madding crowd.
